ePaint Company was recently chosen by the United States Air Force to undertake a research project dedicated to developing new technologies for eliminating ice formation on aircraft surfaces. The first phase of the project will run through the end of 2007. The research will be under the direction of Alex Walsh, who will be assisted by Michael Goodwin. Michael Goodwin has previously conducted similar research for the United States Navy. Ice formation presents a significant hazard to both maritime and aviation interests. Development of a new ice phobic coating will advance the interests of safety in these two important areas. ePaint Company is a leader in coatings research with an emphasis on marine antifouling paints.
