Product Description:
ePaint SN-1 is the only copper and tributyltin-free alternative antifouling paint for heavy duty applications.  Formerly only available for use by U.S. government agencies, SN-1 is EPA registered and now approved for use on commercial vessels and commercial application.    SN-1 is recommended for boats in fresh and salt water.  SN-1 offers excellent antifouling protection in even the harshest marine environments.  SN-1 features ePaint’s patented photo-active technology and Sea Nine 211N active, a potent broad spectrum biocide that prevents both hard and soft-type fouling and is also winner of the EPA’s first Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award for its non-persistent effects on the environment.  SN-1 is compatible over most popular antifouling paints and easy for commercial applicators to apply.  Like all ePaint's, SN-1 is copper-free and will not promote corrosion on aluminum, steel or metal parts.  SN-1 is perfect for all boats and hull types.

Detailed Technical & Safety Information:
> To obtain an SN-1 MSDS please contact an ePaint Representative at 1-800-598-2998.
> ePaint SN-1 must be applied by a commercial facility or government entitiy
> Proper personal protective equipment must be worn when applying ePaint SN-1 (e.g. goggles, gloves, respirator with organic vapor cartidge, Tyvek suit, etc.)

Considerations:
> Due to the photoactive nature of ePaint SN-1, additional coats around the waterline are strongly recommended to extend service life.
> SN-1 is thermo-plastic by nature and hot temperatures above 90oF can soften SN-1 slightly, particularly on aluminum boats in full sun, which can cause paint to dig into pads and straps.  If SN-1 is to be launched in hot climates, consider launching boat in the morning before full sun and temperatures climb and placing plastic sheeting between pads and straps before lifting. The thermo-plastic nature of SN-1 has no effect on antifouling performance and paint will immediately harden when place into service of cooler waters.
