Advanced Water Based Antifouling Paint

Recommended for use on all boats and hull types. EP-2000 offers an exceptionally smooth, hard mar-resistant finish which is perfect for the racer who desires the fastest, cleanest, and whitest bottom. EP-2000 is also perfect for trailered boats.  EP-2000 is water-based and is much safer to apply and work with.  EP-2000 may be wet-sanded to a mirror like finish if desired.  EP-2000 is not compatible with other existing antifouling coatings and old paints must be removed before applying.  Re-applying EP-2000 in later years is simple, just sand with 80 grit, wash away dust and debris with water, and allow to dry.  For improved adhesion and to protect fiberglass from water migration and gel-coat blistering prime first using EP-PRIME 1000.  EP-2000 is self-priming on bare aluminum in certain applications and a tie-coat of EP-Prime 1000 may be used for others.  Steel surfaces must be primed with EP-PRIME 1000. EP-2000 must not be applied when temperatures will dip below 60° F (15.6° C) or when relative humidity exceeds 65%.  For detailed technical info, download the EP-2000 data sheet here for more information.
